Yes, it is possible to grant access to a Messana system without a user account by utilizing Guest Mode in the Messana App. This mode provides a convenient way for guests or friends staying at your home to access the system.
Guest Mode is only available within the home WiFi network.

Guest Mode allows visitors to use basic features of your home conditioning system by providing access to the 'My Zone' section, which encompasses all zones of the house. We plan to update this function in the future to allow the admin user to designate specific rooms for guest access, ensuring more controlled and customized accessibility.
To use the Messana system in Guest Mode, follow these steps:
- Download the Messana App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store onto your smartphone or tablet.
- Ensure your device is connected to the home network Wi-Fi.
- Open the Messana App on your device.
- When prompted to log in, select the ‘Guest’ option.
- The Messana App will initiate a scan for Messana Control systems within the home network.
- Once the scan is complete, the Messana App will display a list of detected systems available for guest access.
- Simply select the specific Messana system you wish to access.
With the Messana App, your friends and guests will be able to adjust temperature settings and make setpoint overrides to ensure their comfort during their stay at your home.
