How do I replace the fuse in Messana Controls’ devices (mBox and mZone)?

Each Messana Controls’ device is equipped with a 10A 250V Power Socket with an ON/OFF red switch located on the bottom right. The power socket houses a fuse holder with a cylindrical 10A fuse and a spare one. To replace the fuse, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the system is completely powered off and remove the power cable from the socket.
  2. Use a small flat screwdriver to carefully lift and extract the fuse holder.
  3. Check if the fuse (a small, cylindrical object) has blown.
  4. If so, replace the blown fuse with the spare one, located within the fuse holder.

Always use the appropriate fuse. All Messana Controls' boxes require a 10A fast-blow glass fuse (5x20mm).

The 10A fuse is essential for protecting the controller from overcurrent and internal faults. If a fuse has blown, investigate the cause before replacing it.

If the fuse blows again after replacement, contact your installer to check if any mechanical devices (such as recirculator pumps or actuators) are overloading the controller. Always prioritize your safety when working with electrical equipment.
