The fan coil activation delay refers to the feature that delays the fan activation until certain temperature conditions are met.

In heating mode, the fan remains inactive until the supply temperature reaches a minimum activation temperature. Similarly, in cooling mode, the fan stays off until the supply temperature drops below a maximum activation temperature. This delay helps prevent the circulation of cold or hot air during startup.

To access and configure the fan coil activation delay settings in the Messana system, follow these steps:
- Go to the Main Menu.
- Navigate to the Hydronic Systems section.
Within the Hydronic Systems menu, you can not only enable or disable the fan coil activation delay, but also adjust various parameters related to its operation.

These parameters include:
- Min supply temp (H): This setting determines the temperature threshold at which the fan starts in heating mode. Once the supply temperature surpasses this value, the fan is activated.
- Max supply temp (C): In cooling mode, the fan initiates when the supply temperature drops below this specified value.
- Switch off differential: This parameter defines the temperature difference required for the fan to stop operating.In heating mode, the fan ceases if the supply temperature falls below: Min supply temp (H) – Switch off differential
Conversely, in cooling mode, the fan stops if the supply temperature rises above:
Max supply temp (C) + Switch off differential
- Switch on max delay: This setting allows the system to wait for a specified amount of time, measured in minutes. It waits for the supply temperature to meet the conditions described above (e.g., Min supply temp (H) or Max supply temp (C)). If the temperature conditions are not met within the specified delay time, the fan starts regardless.
By adjusting these parameters within the Messana App, you can tailor the fan coil activation delay to suit your specific heating and cooling requirements.
