My mBox controller is not powering on, even though there is power in the house. What should I do?

The mBox has a power socket with an ON/OFF switch located at the bottom right. Make sure the switch is in the ON position, denoted by the “I” mark. When the controller is powered, this switch should display a red indicator light.

If the light is not visible, follow these steps:

  1. Verify that the power cable is securely connected to the mBox controller and firmly plugged into a working wall socket.
  2. Review your home’s electrical panel to check if the breaker related to the mBox controller has tripped.
  3. Check the condition of the fuse. The mBox’s power socket houses a 10A fuse, with a spare 10A fuse in the fuse holder. If the fuse appears to be burned out, replace it with the spare one following the instructions in this article: How do I replace the fuse in Messana Controls’ devices (mBox and mZone)?

Always remember to disconnect the mBox controller from the power source before proceeding with this step.
