Setting up the mTouch takes just a few seconds. No configuration or pairing is required.
What you need:
- A Messana control system (mBox) connected to your local network
- A single Cat6 Ethernet cable with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Steps:
- Connect the cable: Plug the Ethernet cable into the back of the mTouch. PoE provides both power and network connectivity through this single cable.
- Wait for discovery: When the mTouch is turned on, it displays a system selection screen and automatically searches for Messana systems on your local network.
- Tap your system: Once your system appears on the list, tap it to connect.
That’s it. The mTouch opens the Home screen and you can start controlling your system immediately.
Auto-Reconnect:
The mTouch remembers the last system you connected to. After a reboot, it reconnects automatically without any manual selection.
