The mTouch has three display settings that let you customize the screen behavior for your environment.
Accessing display settings:
- Open the Main Menu and tap Settings.
- Tap User Preferences.
- Scroll to the Device Settings section.
You can adjust each setting by tapping the left/right arrows, or by tapping the current value to open a selection dialog with all available options.
Brightness:
Controls the screen brightness level.
Options: Very Low, Low, Medium (default), High, Very High
Display Off Timeout:
Sets how long the screen stays on after the last touch before turning off.
Options: 15 sec (default), 30 sec, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, Never
Pyrometric Sensor (proximity sensor):
When enabled, the mTouch detects when someone approaches and wakes the screen automatically. No need to tap the screen.
Options: Disabled (default), Low, Medium, High
Note:
All display settings are saved automatically and persist through screen wake-ups and device reboots.
