Thermostat mode limits the mTouch interface to essential controls only. When activated, only the zones list, individual zone controls, and macro-zones remain accessible. All other menus and advanced features are hidden.
This is useful when the mTouch is installed in a shared or public space where you want to restrict access to system settings, or in a private room where occupants should only see their own controls.

Activating Thermostat Mode:
- Open the Main Menu and tap Settings.
- Tap User Preferences and scroll to Device Settings.
- Toggle “Use device in thermostat mode” to on.
- Enter the PIN when prompted. The default PIN is 000000 (six zeros).
The mTouch is now in thermostat mode. The main menu is replaced by a gear icon in the top-left corner of the header.
Exiting Thermostat Mode:
- Tap the gear icon in the top-left of the header.
- Enter the PIN.
- Toggle “Use device in thermostat mode” to off.
