It’s Mech Room Monday, and we have quite the system to show off!
Installed by the team at Warm Corp West, this mechanical room serves a 15,720 sqft residence in the Bay Area. The home’s 4-pipe hydronic system utilizes a single air-to-water heat pump to generate chilled water for hydronic cooling, while two boilers produce hot water for hydronic heating.
Using Messana WHITE SERIES Controls (mBox alongside mZone zoning modules), hydronic heating and cooling is provided via a Ray Magic® radiant ceiling (H/C), radiant floor (H/C), and hydronic fan coil units (H/C) to serve 20 zones!
Key components of this hydronic system include:

This 6,976 sqft home in Palo Alto, CA, features three floors plus an ADU, with a complete hydronic heating and cooling system designed by Monterey Energy Group and managed by Messana Controls. Three Viessmann heat pumps, one serving each floor, generate heated and chilled water for a combination of radiant floor heating and cooling and Jaga hydronic fan coils.
This three-story, 7,000 sqft home features a sophisticated 11-zone hydronic system powered by two geothermal heat pumps. Messana Controls will manage heating and cooling throughout the home via a radiant ceiling, radiant floor, and Jaga Astrabeam hydronic fan coils, all working together as one integrated system.
