Check out this mZone module in action!
This zoning controller is installed at the manifold location to activate the thermal actuators and the GRUNDFOS recirculating pump. It modulates the fluid temperature through a three-way mixing valve and it sets heating and cooling change-over with a six-way diverting valve, both manufactured by Belimo. It also controls air treatment units with Modbus.
Each mZone module connects with up to 12 mSense room sensors which monitor operative temperature, relative humidity, and air quality!
This system was installed in Carmel, California, by our good friends over at Hydronica, who specialize in radiant system installation, indoor air quality, solar, and HVACR controls and service.
