Radiant cooling and heating ceiling panels are often installed in buildings with remarkable architectural design, but few stand out as much as the CityLife Milano Residential Complex.
Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, this residential apartment complex is comprised of seven curved buildings of varying heights, from 5 to 13 floors. The distinctive architectural elements include a serpentine movement of the curved balconies and the profile of the roofs, which provide a soft and elegant shape for all of the top-floor penthouses, complete with extensive covered terraces. Zaha Hadid Architects put a lot of thought into the site and building orientation, taking into account environmental and comfort requirements so that most apartments face south-east and at the same time allocate the best views from the terraces, towards the city or the public park.
We are happy to say that the @citylifemilano residential complex has been thermally regulated via Roberto Messana’s first-generation Planterm gypsum radiant ceiling panels and dew-point sensors for the last nine years! We are delighted that our original technology was installed in such an architectural masterpiece and that it will be keeping occupants comfortable for years to come!
